EPSOT

Developed with Mirarco in Canada, EPSOT (short for EPS Schedule  Optimisation Tool) was officially launched in 2008 and designed to save mine planners time by generating near-optimal mine schedules based on given parameters and constraints.
One of the most important and time consuming stages in designing and operating a mine is the scheduling process. EPSOT is designed to automate part of the process and help determine the mine’s most profitable schedule.
EPSOT uses automated genetic algorithms and heuristic rules to create thousands of scheduling alternatives that are ranked according to your detailed financials. Output is linked to design elements allowing immediate 3D animation for visual confirmation of schedule viability and approach.

With EPSOT you can:

With the additional information created by EPSOT, those what-if questions can be asked and answered.  For example, we can setup a bunch of different scenarios for combining different types of development, leave them running over a weekend, and have 1000 scheduling options for each scenario on Monday upon which a decision can be based.
