Different mines have different needs.  A review of different mining methods, orebody types and geographies (or even cultures) will quickly lead to the understanding that no single provider of any set off expert mining tools will be able to provide for all this diversity.
Different mining houses often have embedded skill sets and technology preferences making it extremely hard to move from one technical vendor to another.
