CADSmine

Tightly integrated with MineRP's MRM solution, CADSmine is a mineral resource management tool offering graphical interfaces for mining applications, using Microstation as its CAD platform.

Geological Modelling

CADSmine provides unique functionality for the modelling of the structural features of the ore body, allowing host symbols to be defined and placed on structural and reef planes.  CADSmine's geological modelling capablities include tools that enable the intersection of various structurally defined planes to be extrapolated.

The moddeling toolset of CADSmine is most often used to import borehole information (such as descriptions, survey information, lithology, sample values and point data), represent geological mapping and to create surfaces (triangulated, contoured or meshed models).

Survey Measurements

CADSmine makes survey information come alive by providing true 3D graphical presentations of survey data, together with attached data.  The capture of stoping and development includes extra functionality such as sweeping, vamping, waste cuts, slipping and more.

Survey reports itemising important indicators such as tonnage, content, square meters, grade, etc are easy to generate.

Ore Reserve Management

CADSmine provides a rich toolset for the creation and maintenance of an ore reserve block database in a 3D environment, complying with the pertinent international standards and conventions for such entities.   Ore reserves reporting from CADSmine include output such as value distributions of g/t, stope width and channel width and other elements which can all be displayed in 3D models.

Depletion

Calculating remaining and available ore reserves is made easy with CADSmine.  Survey measurement polygons from the integrated MRM Survye measurement solution are employed to deplete ore reserve block models, providing the ability to generate accurate monthly reports of available reserves.

Mine Design & Scheduling

MineRP's CADSmine has proved itself as an extremely competent mine design solution, especially in tabular underground orebodies. The system provides the ability to create 3D mining elements to represent a mining framework for the extraction of the ore body. Mining directions, rates gradient and element dimensions are easily entered, edited and regenerated.  With CADSmine based on the Bently Microstation CAD engine, it provided the mining engineer with a superior design environment, while adding uniqely optimised mine design tools.

More than just design, CADSmine also provides the ability to define time scales and dependencies agains the mine design plan, the flexibility to alter mining rates, directions, delays etc.  Reports are generated in the form of graphic profiles for various parameters, including tonnage, revenue, NPV and much more.

Evaluation

Lastly, CADSmine fully supports the process whereby mine design, scheduling, survey measurements and ore reserve blocks are evaluated in terms of grade and channel width against a kriged grid.  The system further provides the ability to create nuemrous facies polygons and to efficiently create a mineralisation model.
