Outsourcing
Large scale outsourced maintenance and support of applications. This model is often adopted by our larger corporate clients where it is not uncommon for GMSI to provide on-site and remote help desk support to user groups of over 1000 people. Applications are usually customized to the particular needs of each client.
Products
Our products are packaged off-the-shelf solutions that are generic in nature and can be applied in any mining environment. These solutions are scaleable from the smallest consulting firm to the largest of mining houses. Mine2-4D
is an example of a packaged solution that has become the defacto industry standard for integrated mine design and scheduling. Our generic packaged solutions tend to focus on a particular part of the mining technical workflow, but can be integrated with other parts of our broader MRM (Mineral Resource Management) suite.
Technical Consulting
GMSI employs experienced mining professionals to assist mining clients with operational technical requirements and with evaluation of new mines and mine expansions.
Operational assistance regularly includes mine design, reserves and scheduling from life of mine down to the short term management of operational personnel. Evaluation studies from scoping to full feasibility are conducted by teams of GMSI consultants or in many cases our staff work embedded in client-managed study teams.
Contracts
range in timeframe from a few weeks up to a number of years.

GMSI employs expert consultants who
evaluate and advise on strategic options for mining clients, along
with business process optimization. We can offer a uniquely combined
understanding of the strategic value drivers in the business of
mining, along with the technologies used to plan and run mining
